Mission
The mission of J. Moné’s Performing Arts Center is to develop and instruct aspiring artists and at risk children ages 5-18 in the areas of dance, vocals, musicianship, theatre, and more. We will provide a platform for healthy peer interaction, while nurturing creative talents.
Theatre Workshop
In this exciting virtual class, kids will explore the world of acting through fun exercises, improvisation, and script reading. They’ll learn essential acting techniques, build confidence, and develop their creativity while performing scenes and characters. In this engaging virtual class, kids will learn to play the piano or guitar in a fun and interactive way! They’ll explore basic music theory, chords, melodies, and rhythm while playing their favorite songs. Music Production/ Audio Engineering
In this fun and interactive virtual class, kids will explore the exciting world of audio engineering! They'll learn the basics of sound recording, mixing, and editing using beginner-friendly software. Through hands-on projects, students will discover how to create their own music, podcasts, and sound effects while developing technical skills and creativity. Sing Out Loud
In this fun and interactive virtual class, kids will learn the fundamentals of singing, including vocal techniques, breathing exercises, and stage presence. They’ll explore different musical styles, practice their favorite songs, and build confidence in their voice. Using beginner-friendly editing software like CapCut, students will explore storytelling, pacing, transitions, and visual effects.
